Colleen and Anthony’s elopement in Italy

Colleen and Anthony are a very young couple from Alabama. They decided to celebrate their elopement in Italy, specifically in Florence – and they couldn’t choose a better place for it.

Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, is the quintessence of anything that Italy could offer. You can find astounding architecture, luxury villas, delicious food and wine, breathtaking views, beautiful nature right out of the city… overall, the most charming atmosphere you could wish for.

And, let’s say it: this Tuscan city also makes an ideal frame for dreamy elopement photos. The crucial point is to find a photographer that knows it very well, so that he can take photos of you and your spouse in the most iconic and fascinating spots.

Elopement photos all around Florence

This is exactly what I did with Colleen and Anthony: in order for them to have a never ending memory of their lovely elopement in Italy, I shot photos of them in all the most stunning corners of Florence.

We spent a couple hours walking around the city, going from San Miniato al Monte to Piazzale Michelangelo, to catch the two best sights of the city. In the heart of town, we took the elopement photos at Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Santa Croce.

For the whole duration of the session, we were accompanied by a delicate rain – which didn’t ruin the atmosphere: it made it even better thanks to a suffused and gentle light, indeed.

You can see Colleen and Anthony’s happiness and love in every single picture: I was glad to be there and to provide them with precious memories of a day they will never forget.
