Your wedding marks one of the most important days in your life – that’s why you start dreaming of it when you’re just a child. That’s also why you want it to be absolutely perfect and unforgettable.
Wedding photos are crucial: they can immortalize every meaningful gesture, seizing the moment and helping you remember it forever. Of course, a good harmony with your photographer is the key – and you can achieve that by having pre wedding photos taken too.
This is what Elizabeth and Clyde opted for: let me tell you their story…
Pre wedding photos in Florence at sunrise
Elizabeth and Clyde are an elegant American couple – although they’re used to traveling the world because of her international tours as a pianist.
I first met them when they came to Florence in March, to inspect the location they chose for their wedding: the delightful Villa le Fontanelle. On that occasion, we also enjoyed an empty and quiet Florence at sunrise – that gave us the opportunity to take lots of sweet and dreamy pre wedding photos.
That’s the best way for the photographer to get to know the fiancées – and vice versa – besides being a great way to bask in your love for each other without needing to think of anything else…
Spectacular wedding photos at Villa le Fontanelle
Then came the wedding – and it was amazing.
The ceremony took place at the unique and intimate St Mark’s church, in the heart of Florence: tears of joy were shed, looks of love were exchanged… and both of them were enclosed in the wedding photos.
We shot some romantic pictures at Ponte Vecchio, then we moved to the marvelous park of Villa le Fontanelle, where the wedding photos could show the happiness of the newlyweds and the charm of the Tuscan countryside.
The whole reception at the Villa was incredible: the delicate elegance of the decorations, the throwing of flower petals when the bride and groom arrived, the overall atmosphere filled with fun and emotions.
The most touching event? Elizabeth’s performance at the piano, for sure. First she played with her childhood friend and music partner Greg, then she did it solo – dedicating that music to her husband. Of course I captured that extraordinary moment through my wedding photos! And of course I couldn’t help but picturing also the lovely dances that Elizabeth and Clyde had with their parents, as well as the tender speeches by friends and family.
Getting to meet Elizabeth and Clyde and providing them with memories that they will cherish forever, was an absolute pleasure.
