Between Tuscany and Umbria, close to the beautiful city of Siena, lies the scenic Val d’Orcia: the perfect location for your Italy elopement.

Christi and David’s Italy elopement
This gorgeous pair came all the way from the United States of America to Tuscany for their honeymoon and wanted it to be absolutely special. This is the reason why they decided to exchange vows all over again, surrounded by the most picturesque landscape in the region: Val d’Orcia.
They didn’t need anyone but themselves for their Italy elopement, and this allowed us to take the most romantic and intimate photo shoot they could wish for.
It started out in Pienza, a lovely historical town in Tuscany, where we could break the ice with some couple shots in front of the charming architecture. Then, when they felt ready, we moved to the real jewel of the area: the countryside.
Renewing vows in Val d’Orcia, Italy
An elopement in Italy wouldn’t be complete without a stunning landscape embracing you. As a local photographer, I can assure you that Val d’Orcia is the best you can get.
Imagine green or golden rolling hills – the color depends on the season, of course – crossed by tiny streets and lines of cypresses. Now picture yourself in that kind of environment, pronouncing the most heartfelt love words to your lifetime partner.
That’s what Christi and David did during their first holiday as newlyweds. And, in order to treasure never ending memories of that special moment, they asked me to take photos of it. Their vows renewal shooting is full of smiles, passion, happiness and emotion: they were free to express their feelings for each other while the warm light caressed their skin and the space around them.
Whenever they will have a look at the photographs, they will remember that magic experience: that’s the power of images.
