Borgo Pignano, located in the heart of the Chianti countryside, is one of them: a secluded haven where time slows down and every corner exudes beauty and charm. For Brittany and Behzad, an elegant couple from California, this breathtaking venue became the perfect setting for their elopement wedding photos.

The event was preceded by excited anticipation as the couple got ready in the same suite, though being careful not to see each other before the planned first look. The emotion built up as they prepared and I captured through my lens the smallest details: the soft glow of natural light illuminating Brittany’s stunning look, enhanced by a stylish hat, and Behzad’s refined elegance.
To take full advantage of the golden hour, the symbolic ceremony was scheduled for later in the day, allowing us to explore the estate first. Borgo Pignano is a treasure trove of stunning locations, with its rustic stonewalls, charming pathways, lush gardens and panoramic terraces overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills. Every step led us to another picturesque backdrop, perfect for capturing the couple’s joy and deep connection.
As the sun dipped toward the horizon, painting the sky in warm hues, it was time for the symbolic ceremony. The couple stood on the panoramic terrace, with the endless countryside stretching before them. The intimate exchange of vows, set against this breathtaking scenery, made for some of the most powerful and emotional elopement wedding photos of the day.
The iconic beauty of Borgo Pignano
Brittany and Behzad’s elopement wedding was a testament to the beauty of simplicity, elegance and authentic emotion. Borgo Pignano provided the perfect setting: a luxury relais located on a peaceful hilltop – an exclusive, intimate and utterly unforgettable venue. The golden light wrapped around the couple during this small wedding highlighted every loving glance and tender gesture, as well as the location’s attributes. It was a day of pure beauty, set in an exquisite frame. No need for a grand audience: just the profound presence of two hearts promising forever, surrounded by a picture-perfect Tuscan scenery.
