These are a story and a gallery that celebrate love. The love of two people for each other, and their love for Tuscany and its landscapes. And my own love for my job, too: a job that allows me to take natural couple photos in amazing places, giving people the opportunity to cherish precious memories for a lifetime.

This lovely, American couple from New York came to Italy on holiday last summer to enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Their wish was to keep a special memory of the vacation, and they thought that a photo shoot would be the best way to do that. They couldn’t be more right!
I took their natural couple photos all around Val d’Orcia, one of the most picturesque areas of the region, starting from the hamlet of Pienza. We walked around the alleys of this ancient, little town and we stopped at the most evocative spots. Cheyenne’s red dress created a wonderful contrast with the stone walls and wooden doors!
For the second part of the session we moved to the hills of the valley, covered in golden fields and green vineyards. Cheyenne and Filip had the strong desire to take some cute couple photoswith the iconic cypresses on the background – and I was happy to fulfil their dream.
Elegant and natural couple photos
Maybe you’re wondering what I mean when I say “natural couple photos”. I’m talking about pictures where the protagonists feel completely at ease and free to be themselves. They feel so comfortable that they are not embarrassed to express their love to one another with a gaze, a kiss or any other gesture.
Looking at Cheyenne and Filip’s pictures you might think they were already pretty used to this kind of shooting. But that’s not true: in fact, before starting they told me that they were afraid they would feel uneasy in front of the camera. Maybe you don’t know it, but that’s a very common problem!
The solution? Spare some time to break the ice at the beginning of the session – that’s what we did in Pienza – and follow the pace of the couple. Being able to create a few funny moments is important too: a burst of laughter is the best way to relieve tension.
