An unforgettable elopement wedding at the Four Seasons Florence
Have you always been dreaming of a wedding at the Four Seasons, surrounded by luxury and history? Then the elopement wedding of Stephanie and John will win your heart – and Florence will make you fall in love definitively.
Stephanie and John’s elopement wedding at the Four Seasons
When this gorgeous couple contacted me from Utah, they knew one thing for sure: they wanted to get married in Florence. The first step they took was asking me to suggest them a breathtaking venue for their elopement wedding in the city.
I couldn’t help but think about the Four Seasons, one of the most renowned and charming hotels in Florence. The Gherardesca Palace and Garden are absolutely stunning, and make an idyllic setting for a truly unforgettable wedding – or elopement wedding, in this case.
Stephanie and John, in fact, opted for the most intimate way to celebrate their love: it was just the two of them, and the celebrant who led the ceremony. Well, and me of course. I was by their side during the ritual, and for a photo shooting around the property and in the center of the city, creating precious memories that they will cherish forever.
A unique setting for a unique celebration
We started our photo shooting right before the ceremony, with some portraits at the Tempio Lawn, with its little and picturesque temple surrounded by lush greenery and centuries-old trees.
After the short but touching ritual, the newlyweds honored their love with a toast. Then their wedding at the Four Season continued with a sequence of photographs shot all around the property – which offers countless different scenarios. From the romantic park to the little chapel in the lobby of the Palace, from the lavish Gherardesca Ballroom to the refined foyer. Everything, at the Four Seasons Florence, speaks about Renaissance, and both the interiors and outdoor spaces convey an unparalleled touch to the pictures set in such a precious venue.
To get the most out of their elopement wedding, Stephanie and John hired a private driver who would take them all around Florence. The second part of the shooting, then, started at San Miniato al Monte, the most breathtaking panoramic point in the city, and continued in the beating heart of it. Palazzo Vecchio, the iconic Ponte Vecchio, the Arno riverbank, the Uffizi Gallery, and Piazza San Firenze were the perfect backgrounds for some timeless couple portraits.
