An unforgettable day in Florence with a surprise proposal photographer!
Nothing is better than an unexpected engagement proposal, to prove your feelings to your loved one and to gift them with unforgettable memories. To make everything even more special, choose a romantic location and hire a surprise proposal photographer to seize the moment with his camera. That’s what Ryan did: get inspired by this story and gallery…
Ryan’s surprise proposal in Florence
When Ryan, a young man from New Jersey, contacted me to ask me if I could be the photographer for his surprise proposal to his girlfriend Michelle, I was almost as thrilled as him. This kind of session always involves a good amount of excitement and planning too. Everything has to run smoothly on that day: he has to keep the secret until the very last minute and she doesn’t have to suspect anything.
So the first thing we took care of was the location for that special moment. Ryan wanted to kneel in front of a breathtaking view of Florence, and he thought about Piazzale Michelangelo. As a surprise proposal photographer based in the city, I know very well how busy that spot can be, so I suggested doing it in San Miniato al Monte, which offers an even better panorama and more privacy.
You should have seen Michelle’s reaction when he kneeled and popped out the ring! Or better: you can see it, through the photos I took for them.
Never ending memories with a surprise proposal photographer
For as much as an event like this would be carved in your memory forever, how sweet and precious is it if you can actually see yourself from the outside? That’s the power of a surprise proposal photographer: he tells you your own story from a different point of view. And this allows you to cherish the moment forever, for real.
For example, one of my favorite photos of this shooting is the one where Michelle shows her ring to Ryan’s mother on a video call: a cute detail that would risk being sunk into oblivion if not pictured!
After the surprise proposal, the photoshoot went on and touched all of the most iconic spots of Florence, including Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. Their happiness and smiling faces, together with the suffused and delicate light of that day, allowed the day to be truly unforgettable – and the photos are tangible proof of that.
