Sam and Jerry’s small wedding abroad felt just like a dream. An intimate event that took place in a fabulous location in the heart of Tuscany – Villa Boscarello, in Val D’Orcia – and that the attendants will remember forever.
Take a look at the photos of that precious day, and get inspired…
Sam and Jerry: two lovely souls and a small wedding abroad
This young, smiling couple had a nonconformist wish: getting married with a small wedding abroad. They chose Italy as a destination – specifically, they decided to swear eternal love amongst the green rolling hills of Val D’Orcia: probably the most picturesque landscape ever, don’t you think?
They opted for an intimate wedding: they came from the United Kingdom together with just 32 guests. They wanted their celebration to be simple and to represent the essence of their feeling. I was there with my camera, to witness the touching ceremony and the cocktail hour by the scenic swimming pool.
They were pronounced husband and wife in a setup that looked like a fairytale: the frame of their “I do’s” was a curtain made of natural wood and white flowers, with the iconic Tuscan countryside as a background. The groom’s mother was the artist behind all of the flower decorations – perfectly delicate and delightful!
Villa Boscarello, a wonderful venue in Val D’Orcia
After the ceremony, the newlyweds were embraced by a joyful explosion of white flower petals in front of the astounding venue – Villa Boscarello. There, a splendid avenue of cypresses leads to the entrance: that’s the setting we chose for some family portraits full of happiness and love.
Since it was such a cozy celebration, we had plenty of time to wander around the property and take some emotional photos of the bride and groom in the most charming spots of Villa Boscarello. This elegant country house, first built in 1600 and recently renovated, offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills of Val D’Orcia: from its pool, your gaze can reach Siena and Mount Amiata! And even if your small wedding abroad takes place in the winter, you’ll have many spacious halls to choose from – all of which convey the typical Tuscan atmosphere.
I’m sure that, after reading the story and seeing the pictures of Sam and Jerry’s small wedding abroad, you can’t wait for your special day to come. Rest assured: if you wish, I will be by your side to turn the most meaningful moments into never-ending memories.
