A classy elopement in Florence, at Villa Le Fontanelle
What would you do if life changed your wedding plans? Wendy and Benjamin haven’t lost their heart and they adapted to change in the best way: you can see it yourself, through the gallery of their beautiful elopement in Florence.
Wendy and Benjamin’s elegant elopement in Florence
This nice couple from San Francisco was supposed to get married in Italy in 2020. As we all know, though, the whole world was put on hold by the pandemic and they couldn’t leave the United States. Most people would take that the wrong way, but Wendy and Benjamin didn’t. They just rescheduled their journey and event, so that they could make the most out of the deposit they had already paid to all of the wedding vendors.
That’s why they decided to opt for an elopement in Florence: not a big party, but an essential celebration of their love. Despite being an intimate event, for the two of them only, Wendy didn’t give up on sophistication and elegance: she wore two different dresses, one for the ceremony and cocktail, and one for the after-wedding portraits. They were equally graceful and she looked gorgeous in both of them!
Villa Le Fontanelle, a charming wedding venue in Florence
For their elopement in Florence, Wendy and Benjamin chose a stunning and very versatile venue: Villa Le Fontanelle. The place offers so many scenarios that our photo shooting lasted for four hours – and we definitely used all of them.
The first images portray Benjamin in the romantic Garden and Wendy while she was getting ready inside the venue. Then we moved to the spot chosen for the ceremony: the arches outside the Chapel, finely decorated with fresh flowers matching the bride’s bouquet.
After a cheerful toast, Wendy changed her outfit and we were ready to start the second part of the session, taking couple portraits of the newlyweds all around the venue of their elopement in Florence. From the park to the terrace overlooking the valley – and offering a breathtaking panorama – not to mention the picturesque, little fort and the dreamy swing hanging from a tree: the photos of this elopement in Florence perfectly depict the couple’s happiness and the strength of their bond. A precious memory for them to treasure forever.
