Having a fascinating wedding in Italy is a pretty popular choice nowadays, particularly for those who live far away from it, in a completely different environment. With its amazing landscapes, delicious food and romantic atmosphere, it’s no surprise that it is such an attractive wedding destination.

Tuscany is one of the most suitable places to host you and your guests on such a crucial day: let Sophie and Joel’s destination wedding pictures inspire yours!

Your wedding in Chianti at Villa il Poggiale

If you have never been to Chianti, imagine it as the quintessence of Tuscany. Its landscape is characterized by soft, green hills, with endless bright meadows, luxuriant vineyards and olive groves – and tiny country roads to explore it.

Chianti is also famous for its rich red wine, that will be the perfect drink to go with the exquisite food of your wedding in Italy. But it’s also very close to cities like Florence, with its artistic and architectural wonders, in addition to its charming views.

Villa il Poggiale is a venue that sums up everything that your wedding in Italy should have: history, welcoming atmosphere, breathtaking surroundings, elegant settings and delightful food and wine. It’s the perfect place to turn your dreams into reality and have a unique celebration of your love.

Sophie and Joel’s wedding in Italy

This elegant couple from Australia wished for a classy and traditional Italian wedding, where the landscape would embrace the whole celebration, creating a naturally spectacular frame. That’s why they chose to have their special day in Chianti, together with friends and family.

Right before the ceremony, an unexpected event happened: heavy rain started to pour over Villa il Poggiale, risking to ruin Sophie and Joel’s dreams of a perfect wedding day. But their positive energy worked as a reversed rain dance: the weather went back to normal just in time for the open air ritual – and the suffused and delicate light was actually ideal to take dreamy photos.

The touching ceremony was followed by a poetic couple photo shoot in the vineyards right before sunset and by a fun wedding party in the garden of the Villa. Everyone enjoyed the food, celebration and warm atmosphere – and the bride and groom loved the speeches of their dear friends and family.

Why not granting yourself an unforgettable wedding in Italy, just like Sophie and Joel did? You surely deserve your lifelong dream to come true!
